Gift DJ lessons or a DJ set to your loved ones with a voucher.
The minimum spend for the gift voucher is £150. On Djaayz, £150 is the minimum amount for a DJ lesson or a 1h30 DJ set including the equipment for 50 pax.The voucher can be used for a booking with a different amount (higher or below the voucher’s amount). The voucher is valid for 1 year. All vouchers are non-refundable.

To register as a DJ on the app, you will need a referral code, a valid email address and your mobile number.

You can reset your password from your email address by clicking on ‘forgot password’.

To delete your account, click on ‘Account Settings’ then ‘Delete my account’. You can only permanently delete your account if no bookings are in progress.

How does it works?
Whether on the app or on the web, fill in your city, click on “Show teachers only” and click search. In the filters, you can select your level (kids, beginner, intermediate or advanced) and where you would like the lessons to take place: at your home or online. For online lessons, the DJ will help you with the software to download, and for lessons at your home, the DJs will bring their equipment. Once you have found the profile that matches your needs, you can book the DJ in the application by clicking on "Book a DJ lesson" and following the booking instructions.You can also contact the DJ in the chat room if you have any further questions, or contact us: clienthelp@djaayz.com.

You have the possibility to post brief us, describing your needs and budget for your event. Djaayz will send your request to DJs that fit your criteria for you to select and book a DJ.

How does it work?

1. Post your request in just a few clicks by entering your event details:

- location, date, time, length...

- Select if you need the DJ to bring their equipment or not. You can select all or partial pieces of equipment. If you need the equipment, the DJ will organise it for you. If you do not need it, you will need to arrange the DJ's technical equipment (CDJs, speakers, mic, cables/connections) at your own cost.

- You set up your maximum budget. Please note, your budget must include the DJ's transportation fee to your event (back and forth).

- You can define how many offers you want to receive from DJs.
 

2. Your request will be sent to DJs that fit your criteria. When DJs receive your request, they can:

- Send you a message to discuss the details before sending their offer.

- Apply to your request and send you an offer. The DJ's offer can be less or equal to your maximum budget.

- Decline your request if they are not available or it does not fit them.


3. When you receive offers from DJs, you can:

- Send a message to the DJ to discuss the details before accepting their offer. You can discuss the equipment with the DJ in the chat room directly in-app to make sure you or the DJ can arrange everything you need.

- Accept the offer. Once you accept an offer, you will be debited from the payment method you filled in and a booking will be created.

- Decline the offer.

- In the eventuality that you do not receive any satisfying offer, you can request to send your ad to more DJs

There are 2 ways to look for a DJ.

 For a DJ set or a DJ lesson, you can search a DJ with the automatic search that returns instant results. Enter the information below and click on “Search”:
- City or DJ (mandatory)
- Type of music (mandatory)
- Date
- Budget
- For DJ lessons, click on “show teachers only”
Then, select your DJ and click on “Book a DJ set” or “Book a DJ lesson”.


2. You can also submit your request and receive offers DJs that fit your needs. For this, click on “brief us” and follow the process.

Bookings are made automatically in the app.

You have 3 options to book DJs in the App:

1 - Send a Booking request to the DJ directly from his profile

The DJ has 24 hours to respond to your request.
If the DJ confirms the booking:
The payment for your reservation is debited.
You can chat with the DJ via a chat room.
 
If the DJ does not respond favorably:
The booking is automatically canceled and no debit is made.
2 - Post an Ad with your Event details  

DJs that match your request will send you offers
You'll be able to review the offers and accept the best one
When accepting the offer you'll need to make the payment and the booking will be automatically accepted
3 - Contact a DJ to ask for a custom quote

This is a good option if you have specific requests

Once you've agreed on the details, you can accept the offer. You'll need to make the payment and the booking will be automatically accepted

You can contact a DJ directly within the app, by clicking the "Contact DJ" button on a DJ's profile.

Once a booking has been accepted, you can also chat with the DJ via the chat room in-app. In your booking, click on the "chat with the DJ" button.

Djaayz will not be responsible for any issues if you make a payment outside of our app.

You can book a DJ at the latest 2h before your event.
You can book a DJ at the earliest 1 year and 6 months before your event.

When booking a DJ, you will have an option to indicate the number of guests.

- Remember to contact the DJ via the Djaayz chat room to organize the equipment.
- Think about where you want to place the DJ: the DJ booth should be near electrical outlets or somewhere easy to reach for extension cables.
- Please provide a solid table for the DJ. Also plan a space big enough for the DJ to have room to mix in a suitable place.
- Allow enough space between the DJ and the dancefloor so that guests do not disturb the DJ or damage the equipment.
- You will need to protect the equipment: if the DJ is mixing outside, make sure you have a tent and protect the electrical outlets, the weather can always turn bad.
- Provide water for the DJ during his set. You can also ask him if he wants something in particular via the chat room if you wish.

Up to 50 people
The DJ will bring his own equipment. A supplement of £50 will then be automatically added to your basket. This service cannot be canceled because the DJ needs to have adequate equipment which is specific to each DJ. This package also includes the transport and installation of the equipment.

More than 50 people
You must be able to provide the appropriate equipment. The equipment is not included in the DJ service, it will be at your expense. Once the booking is confirmed, you can communicate with the DJ via the chatroom so that the DJ can help you organize the rental of equipment depending on the location and the number of people. You will also receive an email with a list of gear rental stores closest to your event.

 

DJ lessons at your place
The DJ will bring his own equipment.

You can communicate with the DJ via the application by clicking the button “contact DJ” on the DJ profile.

The minimum duration of a set is 90 minutes. However, you can increase the duration. For each additional hour, a fee will be added.
