Djaayz selects "SuperDJ" according to several criteria:
- 4+ overall rating in the past year
- 10+ bookings on Djaayzz
- <1% cancellation rate
- 90% response rate
You don't have to do anything to become a "SuperDJ", you earn this status when you meet these criteria.
Choose the level: you can introduce children or beginners to the art of mixing, or teach more advanced DJs.
The location: you can choose to teach at the client's place. You'll need to bring your own equipment and provide a criminal record. Or you can teach online. For online courses, you'll need to guide clients on which software to download.
Price/payment: For the time being, the prices for DJ courses are the same as those you indicated for DJ sets. And the booking and payment process is the same as for a DJ set: the customer books you into the application by setting a date, and you get paid 5 days after that date.
Clients have the possibility to post a request, describing their needs and budget for their event. Djaayz will send the ad to the DJs that fit with the client's criteria.
How does it work?
1. Clients will post their request by entering their event details:
- location, date, time, length...
- They will select if they need you to bring your equipment or not. They can select all or partial pieces of equipment. If they need the equipment, you will organise it for them. If they do not need it, the client will need to arrange the DJ's technical equipment (CDJs, speakers, mic, cables/connections) at their own cost.
2. The clients' request will be sent to DJs that fit their criteria. When you receive a request, you can:
- Send a message to the client to discuss the details of their events before sending your offer.
- Decline the request if you are not available or it does not fit you.
- Apply to the request and send your offer. Your offer can be less or equal to the client's maximum budget. Le prix doit inclure tous les frais éventuels (transports, hébergement si nécessaire, matériel si demandé par le client...) Please send your offer as soon as possible, before the client books another DJ.
3. When the client receive offers from DJs, they can:
- Send a message to the DJ to discuss the details before accepting their offer. You can discuss the equipment with the client in the chat room directly in-app to make sure you or the client can arrange everything you need.
- Accept the offer. Once the client accept an offer, they will be debited and a booking will be created.
- Decline the offer.
A client can contact you via the app, by clicking on the "Contact DJ" button, to ask you questions before booking you. Once a booking has been accepted, you can also chat with the client via the chat room in-app. In your booking, click on the "Chat with client" button.
When a customer contacts you in the chat in-app, ask them to detail their requirements for their event. Once you have enough details, click on "send a quote" in the top right-hand corner of the chat.
If the customer accepts the quote, you'll receive a booking request.
You have 24 hours to confirm or refuse the booking.
If the request was made less than 24 hours before the booking, you have up to 2 hours before the start of the booking to accept or refuse the booking.
We advise you to respond as soon as possible to booking requests. If you do not respond within the stated timeframe, the booking will be automatically cancelled.
Yes. However, there is a minimum of 3 hours between each booking.
The minimum duration of a set and DJ lesson is 1h30.
If the organiser requests more time, you will be notified.
For each additional hour, you will be paid the additional fees you have indicated on the app.
You'll see in the Booking request if the client need you to bring your own equipment. A supplement of £50 will then be automatically added to your fee. If this is not enough to cover the full ammount of the equipment, please make sure to discuss with the clients and send a custom offer that will cover your booking &/or your equipment.
DJ lesson at the client's: You must bring your own equipment.
You will get paid directly via the Djaayz app once you clicked on "I have finished my set" or “I have finished my lesson”. You will receive your compensation within 5 to 10 days after the event or after receipt of the funds (whichever comes first).
As a service provider, you must be able to get to the event location on your own.
You can also send a Quote with a Custom Price to cover your travel costs if a client contact you for an event outside of your regular booking distance.
You can bring only one person, but you must inform the organiser before the event.
You understand and agree that guests at the event may take pictures or recordings of you at the event.

- You can bring a +1 for help setting up at the Event if you notify the Planner of this before the Event.
- Please wear appropriate clothing at the event. If there is a dress code, it will be communicated to you by the organiser in the booking details.
- Before the Event, you should communicate via the App and click on the following buttons:

- Wear inappropriate clothing and cannot undress while performing;
- Act unlawfully or in any manner which may bring the App into disrepute;

- At least 45 days prior to the event, you will be compensated 20% of the total price;
- 30-44 days prior to the event, you will be compensated 50% of the total price;
- 15-29 days prior to the event, you will be compensated 75% of the total price;
- and 0-14 days prior to the event, you will be compensated 100% of the total price.
To avoid a bad review on your profile and slow down your activity on the app, we recommend that you fulfil as many of your agreed bookings as possible. If you repeatedly cancel bookings without valid reasons, we may have to temporarily or permanently suspend your account.
If you feel uncomfortable, leave the event. Then log in to the app and press the ‘I'm leaving the set’ button. You will have to justify your reason for leaving.
You are solely responsible for the equipment you bring.
It is up to you to define your booking fees. Your VAT will be calculated automatically on the app.
An invoice will be generated automatically on the app between you and the client. It will be available in your personal space.
Djaayz buys your performance and does not take responsibility for any legal declarations (employment, social charges, taxes, VAT, etc) that might be required on your part. You are expected to comply fully with the regulations in the country in which you are performing.
